Dixie Crossroads is an iconic restaurant that has been serving the Titusville, Florida since 1983. To stay in business for over forty years is quite an accomplishment in itself. To still be one of the most popular restaurants, if not the most popular, for four decades is almost unheard of. Yet, Dixie Crossroads has accomplished this and after experiencing Dixie Crossroads, it is easy to see why Dixie Crossroads has been on the top of the Titusville, Florida culinary landscape since that magical time in history known as the 1980's.

Dixie Crossroads is probably best known for their rock shrimp and many say that rock shrimp is more like lobster than shrimp. While I do not feel that that particular statement is necessarily one hundred percent accurate, the rock shrimp was definitely enjoyable.

I ended up going with a combination platters of catfish, scallops and rock shrimp. For my two sides, I went with a loaded baked potato and a Caesar salad. Both of these were premium sides and were an upcharge of two dollars (well, $1.99 to be exact) each.

I would definitely say that the Caesar salad was worth the additional two dollars, the baked potato was okay, but I might go with the French fries next time.

Out of my three fish, the catfish was probably my favorite and I will say that their house-made tartar sauce was pretty stellar.

Our server was absolutely fantastic and the ambiance was definitely reminiscent of the seafood shacks on the New Jersey shore growing up.

Dixie Crossroads is definitely a must-stop if you are in Titusville, Florida. I would definitely recommend here and I give it five stars overall.

We've been wanting to go here for years and finally did as we were in the area and friends have always raved about this place.

Prices were very reasonable and our waitress was excellent and attentive.
When it comes to seafood, I am not the best on judging it to be honest, as I always go for fried this or fried that (especially fried shrimp). With that said, their fried shrimp po-boy was very good and the shrimp was more like lightly fried and had excellent size and texture. The shrimp being the main takeaway of the po-boy, as it was sorta more of an open faced sandwich as they put plenty of shrimp on it!

Their atmosphere was great and if out that way, it's a must stop and doesn't have that chain restaurant vibe and more of an old Florida feel with modern touches and very clean restrooms. Very spacious place as well with plenty of parking.

I really wanted to try the rock shrimp (never had before and wasn't sure exactly what to expect) and kicking myself for not trying it. So we will be back and I am going for their rock shrimp for sure next time!

I've eaten at Dixie since the early 1980s when it first opened. I have to admit to a certain bias at the outset: they were a direct competitor to the restaurant that my best friend's parents had opened years before about 2 miles away up US 1. After his father was murdered during a robbery while taking the cash to the bank after a night of business, I felt like I would be unfaithful to go anywhere else.
That being said (and being 4 decades ago!) today's Dixie is sort of like Millers Ale House, just focused on seafood. If you go any popular time, you'll probably have to wait for seating. The food is always the same. It's fine. There is nothing particularly bad about it, however, it is what I and my wife refer to as "utility food". There are some standout dishes (the items that are "house specialties"), and I can say with certainty that I've never had anything "bad" there. The open plan is good for large groups & waitstaff are always friendly and polite.
I hate giving anything other than very good or very bad reviews on Yelp, as I don't want to seem too punitive, nor do I want to mislead anyone. So I'm just gonna leave this one here like this.
Dixie crossroads has been here for most of y'all's lives. It has become a Titusville institution, and as such is probably worthy of a visit, if you are visiting my fair hometown. However, if you're coming to see a launch down by the river, make sure that you budget plenty of time. Both for the food and for the traffic.

Called in a to go order. Coconut shrimp and Caesar salad and root vegetables for $39.00!!! I almost called back to cancel the order but I was working in the Mims Fl area and I was hungry see the sign off I95 and decided to look them up and do a call in order. Food was med in taste, customer service was ok, they had a sign to check your food before you leave. And the take out was in a window outside. And after all that they didn't even put cutlery in the bag. I'm sure I will not be back but try it for yourself.

This iconic restaurant is worth every visit that can muster, between the memories made and sharing the experience with others. I started coming here to support science activities on the Space Shuttle and recently took my father here for his first time. Great service, friendly people, good seafood (it's the South so they specialize in deep fried!). Always worth the time to drop by. And don't forget to check out the minster coy in the pond outside!

Omg. The corn fritters are SO GOOD. I could have just gotten full on those. The rock shrimp were awesome. I've never tried them before but they were almost like mini lobster tails. Succulent meat! The coleslaw was also perfect and classic.

It's super cute there with water features and photo ops.

The service was amazing. Great southern hospitality.

Went to Dixie Crossroads restaurant in Titusville Florida at about 600 pm. Looked up reviews on line before going and they have a great reputation. They don't take reservations. So be prepared to wait a little bit, because this is a happening restaurant. It's a large restaurant and had 2 large parties just as we arrived, but they were able to serve us quickly.
We waited about 30 minutes but after we were seated our waitress Cora did an excellent job describing and recommending food. Our drinks came out quickly followed by their famous corn hush puppies with powdered sugar. They are so good you'll ruin your appetite eating them. Our food came out pretty quickly and was very tasty.
Sorry I forgot to get a picture before I started eating, I was so hungry and it smelled and tasted so good. This was my first time eating at this restaurant that has been in business since 1983, a family member was celebrating her birthday and saw the restaurant on either a food network or a travel channel for Florida. Either way we had a great experience and the bill was reasonable.
Not shown in the pictures were the corn hush puppies, homemade coleslaw, and French fries that came with my combo meal.

Shrimp & Grits with bacon & mushrooms
Indian River combo: rock shrimp, scallops, & mahi mahi fish. (Sorry started eating the fish before I took the picture)

My daughter got a 5 dollar off coupon from school and the workers refused to give her five dollars off!! I was very disappointed she really was looking forward to five dollars off. The food was very good and the place was very lively though so that's why i gave 2 stars.

My husband has been talking about this place since we met 10 years ago and said he couldn't wait for me to try their amazing rock shrimp. Well, we finally got to go to Daytona and he was so excited when we started to make the drive towards Titusville to Dixie crossroads. Our server was amazing. She was humorous and fun to be around and made the experience even more better. I went ahead even though I don't like shrimp. I ordered a dozen rock shrimp, and I am so glad I did! They were amazing! So I guess I do like shrimp; broiled rock shrimp!
The ambiance was nice; and casual and while you're there, feed the fish on your way out and spend time just relaxing by the water.
